PhotoMultiplier Tubes and Voltage Dividers

Information about the photomultiplier tubes and voltage dividers used by the Neutron Wall detectors.
  • PhotoMultiplier Tubes:
    • Pentagonal detectors: Photonis XP4312B, 3" (76 mm), 12 stage.
    • Hexagonal detectors: Photonis XP4512, 5" (130 mm), 10 stage.
  • Voltage divider:
    • Philips VD123K, active voltage divider, output signal DC or pulse, anode grounded (-HV)
Note: As far as JN knows, all detectors use the same voltage divider. This should be verified!
